Cognorehab is a startup based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, dedicated to transforming the way blind or low-vision children learn prepositions of direction and movement. Our team, led by founder and inventor, Dr. Mahmoodi Ahmad Abadi, a highly respected researcher and expert in the field of education, has developed a unique approach that utilizes touch and interaction to create an innovative, comprehensive, and visual learning experience.

Dr. Ahmad Abadi's research and experience working with blind individuals, particularly on their weaknesses, has been the foundation for the development of our innovative device. Her knowledge and expertise in the field of education have been invaluable in the development of our teaching device, which has been patented in the United States and property rights have been granted to the Cognorehab team.

Since 2020, Manitoba Accelerator Technology has approved and supported Cognorehab, which was incorporated in March 2021. The startup is committed to developing a product that addresses the most pressing problems faced by cognitively disabled persons, starting with a focus on Winnipeg and Manitoba province.
